A second collection of Ridley's newspaper columns, also published by the Institute of Economic Affairs, gathering pieces from The Sunday Telegraph, Daily Telegraph and other outlets written between 1994 and 1996. Ridley again contests claims made by environmental lobbyists and politicians that he argues are unsubstantiated. It was the seventh title in the IEA's Studies on the Environment series.
